Bio
Lillian Frances is a self-produced indie pop artist based out of Sacramento, CA. She is a sonic collager of sorts - weaving together organic and synthetic sounds to create captivating sonic landscapes. While crafting her music, Frances isn’t bothered by genre, or motivated to create in a particular style. One minute she leads you through a poppy, textured dream-land, the next you tumble into sparse, trappy beats as Lillian glides effortlessly between English and Spanish.
Her unique alt-pop style has been compared to Lorde, Sylvan Esso, and Billie Eilish.
Her music has been featured by NPR, Indie Shuffle, and Pop Matters. Past festivals include the Oregon Country Fair, Stilldream, Feather River Flowdown, Whole Earth Festival, and the Davis Music Festival; notable performances include opening for Sylvan Esso, and playing alongside Shakey Graves, Sage the Gemini, and Lexy Panterra.
Her latest single, "Tongue Tied" was released on November 29th, 2024 in advance of her new album coming early 2025.
